THE CONCEPT

Lemuria Resort of Praslin, a 5-star de-luxe resort with its 18 hole championship golf course opened on the 1st December 1999. The hotel was conceived to meet the increasing demand from international travellers for a five star destination in the Seychelles. The modern approach to design and quality of the buildings compliment the expectations of guests who enjoy the highest standards of luxury and comfort in harmony with the preserved natural beauty of the environment.

A PERFECT LOCATION

Just 5 minutes from Praslin airport, Lemuria enjoys an idyllic location on the northwest coast of the island. Surrounded by luxuriant and rare vegetation, washed by the warm waters of the Indian Ocean, the hotel lies sheltered from the prevailing winds. The sea with its many hues of turquoise, the fresh green landscapes and the three secluded white sand beaches create a natural infusion and a truly exceptional site.

The main building lies crafted into the hillside, amidst dense vegetation overlooking the beaches of Kerlan. The calm simplicity of the hotel welcomes you into a sense of tranquility and majesty.

The unique and striking use of natural materials, of wood and stone, are emphasized by light and water from every direction. The swimming pool has three levels, flowing from the hotel to the sea. The entire property is designed in complete empathy with its natural surroundings to provide an ambiance of total tranquillity and refined elegance.

52 m2 surface area. The 88 palm-thatched Junior Suites constructed in wood, marble, limestone and pink granite, adjacent to the golf course and in lodges on the edge of the lush interior.

The emphasis is on privacy, intimacy and harmony with the natural surroundings. Each suite is designed in a minimalist way, yet luxurious style with ceiling fans, large bathrooms, a terrace with private dining space & sun lounge chairs and beds shaded by overhanging palm trees on the beach.

8 SENIOR SUITES

115 m2 surface area. The 8 Senior Suites are exceptionally spacious. The suites were designed to blend with the outstanding natural beauty of its surroundings.

Each lavishly appointed room has all the facilities as described for junior suites, in addition has a separate lounge and a double size terrace.

8 PRIVATE POOL VILLAS

750 m2 each, these two bedroom villas at the southern tip of Anse Kerlan offer the ultimate beachside accommodation in the Indian Ocean. Spaciously designed to reflect the overall concept, the bedrooms lead directly into the gardens and beach just meters away. A master living space provides for dining, entertainment and relaxation while outside, a dining area sunken into the vast swimming pool is part of the many water features of each villa. Villa Masters take care of every personalized service requirement throughout the guests stay, delivering an experience beyond expectation. The Villas by Lemuria feature all the facilities of junior & senior suites in each bedroom, plus Sony Playstations, outdoor showers, and a relaxation & massage pavilion for each villa. PRESIDENTIAL VILLA

Majestically perched into the granite boulders on the southern tip of Anse Kerlan, is the newly built Presidential Villa. A private hotel, within a hotel designed & crafted to deliver a completely unique experience not found anywhere else in the Seychelles if not the world. A master suite including it’s own terrace bathroom, and two further suites accommodate 3 multi-level pools which surround the buildings with steps leading to a private beach separated from the rest of the resort by a river. Endless features to Royal standards are included within the villa and a private staff, chef and security remove the need to be anywhere else in the world.

THE LEGEND

Located in the main building, the Legend Restaurant offers a refined and relaxed atmosphere, overlooking the splendor of the Indian Ocean. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, featuring international cuisine as well as local specialities and a wide range of fine wine from different parts of the world.

THE SEA HORSE

Adjacent to the golf course and overlooking the 11th hole, this Mediterranean restaurant is opened daily offering al fresco dining.

THE BEACH BAR & GRILL

Set on top of the Peninsula, the restaurant overlooks the two beaches. Offering a choice of seafood specialities, Creole, and Indian Ocean favourites. Evening opening times are controlled during the turtle-nesting season for environmental reasons.

THE LEGEND BAR

Located to alongside the foyer and overlooking vegetation & Indian Ocean, the bar offers a choice of morning coffee, afternoon tea, cocktails, aperitif and digestive.

Located in the Sea Horse restaurant, this bar offers a range of drinks & refreshments for dinners, and golfers whilst playing the 11th hole.

Sunken into the swimming pool, this bar offers a choice of light lunches, cocktails and refreshments in a casual and relaxed environment.

THE BEACH BAR

Set on top of the small Peninsula, the bar overlooks both the Grande Anse and
Petite Anse Kerlan beaches. The Bar offers a variety of exotic juices and cocktails.
