Island Beach Retreat Praslin

Private villas are anyway a rarity in The Seychelles
These new stand alone beach bungalows are simply wonderful

Description

Beach Retreat is in a beautiful beach location set in a huge 175 acre former coconut, vanilla, and cinnamon plantation
just off the Cote D'or tourist district in Praslin.
The closest Hotel to it is L'Archipel, on Anse Gouvernement.

The location is ideal for visitors who wish to enjoy nature and beaches at their best
With no immediate neighbours, the detached bungalows offer unique privacy only a few metres from the water's edge
as all 20 of them front the unrivalled 500m long beach
With no roadside traffic, no beach hustlers and close to town, Anse Lazio and Cote d'Or,
Ile des Palmes is all about Space and Comfort and simply a dream come true

The finish standard of these bungalows are of the highest level
with original oils by Praslin's own famous Artist "par excellence" Raymond Dubuisson.

The estate is in two separate sections:
The Colonial Quarters and The Pirates Cove.

The Colonial Quarters
This area is mainly for families with children and comprises 1, 2 and 3 bedroom beachfront bungalows

1 Bedroom Beach Bungalows (veranda, living room, kitchenette, bathroom, bedroom with a double bed Bed and cot on request)
only 3 metres from the beach.
Two such units close to each other are used for families with grandparents
so they can stay next door to their family with infants.

2 Bedroom Beach Bungalows (125m2), one with a double bed and the other with 2 single beds.
Ideal for families with children.

3 Bedroom Beach Bungalows (125m2), 2 rooms with double beds, 1 room with a single bed, and a large veranda
Ideal for larger families.

The Pirates Cove
This area is ideal for couples, nature lovers and honeymooners and normally does not take children.
These ten one-bedroom 66m2 units with a large veranda are new.
Finished in Teak and built on stilts, they are 2 to 4 metres from the water's edge,
and some have a view of the Vallee de Mai.

This section of the establishment is named so because the well-known pirate Vasseur "La Buse"
is said to have hidden a bounty near to the bungalows at Anse Badamier.
Some fascinating markings on the rocks bears witness to that belief.
