L’UNION ESTATE BEACH CHALETS
L'Union Estate covers a third of La Digue island and is 1.7 km to the
north from La Passe Jetty.
The four (4) chalets can each accommodate 4 adults plus 2 extra beds for
children.
ACCOMMODATION
Chalets are equipped with the following:
- 2 air-conditioned bedrooms, complete bathroom facilities including
separate bath, shower, toilet and bidet,
living / dining room, complete kitchen, linen, crockery & cutlery, large
terrace.

Children sharing with 2 adults:
* Children 0 - 2yrs: Free of charge
* Children 3 - 11yrs: Extra child rate as above.
* Children aged 12yrs and above: Adult rate.
* Child occupying room with a single adult - double occupancy applies.
* Children occupying own room: Normal rate applies. |
FACILITIES
Half Board (breakfast and dinner) can be taken at La Digue Island Lodge
(1000m from L'Union)
This includes return bus transfer.
There are local shops just a few minutes walk away and the little fish
market offers fresh catch every day,
and those staying at L'Union Estate Chalets on Self-Catering basis
also have access to the swimming pool
and other facilities offered by La Digue Island Lodge.
Satellite television, barbecue grill, safe in reception, telephone, baby
sitting and laundry on request.
Other
service with a fee includes Horse riding.
Check-out time - 10:30hrs
The Estate also features the following:
* The old Plantation House, a traditional coconut mill and copra
factory, horse riding, the vanilla plantation, a wooden boat building work,
the giant rock of L'Union, giant land tortoises and baby tortoises, an old
Cement factory, and what everyone reckons is the most beautiful beach in the
world at Anse Source d'Argent.
