Desroches Island, remote and unspoiled, is the largest island of the Amirantes group situated 250 km or a 35 minutes’ flight from Mahe.
Secreted beneath the shade of coconut palms, it has 14 km of immaculate beaches, crystal blue waters and is protected by its own coral reefs.

Imagine a small Island, 6 km long and 1 km wide, acres of shady coconut palms fringed by 14 km of white sandy beaches,
lapped by crystal clear turquoise waters sheltered by the encircling reef.

The resort boasts 20 junior suites against a setting of powder-soft sands and waving palms.
Rich in corals and marine life, Desroches offers excellent opportunities for diving, deep-sea and fly-fishing
and other facilities such as windsurfs, a fleet of canoes, and pedalos.

Activities include tennis on the floodlit court, petanque (bowls) and practice on the golf range.
Desroches Island Resort re-opened its doors in August 2003 following renovation and refurbishment of all rooms.

In front of the swimming pool, the Creole style restaurant has a stunning view on the pool and the sea, open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

The cuisine varies between Creole, French and cosmopolitan types.
