L'Habitation Cerf Island

Situated in the National Marine Park, some 5km from Mahe and Victoria, the capital, Cerf Island is surrounded by white sandy beaches and coves and covered with dense tropical vegetation. The surrounding reefs abound in rich marine life….A Paradise for divers.

This second tourism establishment on Cerf Island offers a discerning atmosphere ideal for those seeking privacy in a peaceful setting.

“L’Habitation” blends perfectly with its surroundings situated in this small granitic island of 1.7 km long by 900 metres wide and can accommodate up to 24 guests.

The main building, designed as a colonial plantation house, proposes 12 very comfortable and spacious rooms with terrace overlooking the sea and the Marine Park except for 4 with side sea view and 2 new spacious Junior suites in 2 individual bungalows. They all have a beautiful view and direct access to the marine park.

 L’Habitation Cerf Island  has now built a new jetty for a better disembarkation to the island and the pool has been newly renovated.

All rooms are equipped with en suite bathroom, air-conditioning, hair-dryer, TV, telephone, mini-bar and facilities for tea and coffee.

The plantation style restaurant boasts an exclusive Creole cuisine of local fish, seafood, meat and fruit as well as reputable international cuisine.

A new thatched beach gazebo serves a Creole and grilled fresh fish for lunch only. There is also a bar and a games room.

Water sports activities: snorkelling, pedalo, canoeing .

Paying activities: Diving, Big Game Fishing, long-line fishing and full day boat excursion with picnic.

A free shuttle service between Mahé and Cerf Island will be provided at regular hours: Transfers are also assured for off scheduled arrivals and departures.
