Hotel Mourouk Ebony
The island
of Rodrigues, which is situated in the middle of the Tropical Indian Ocean with
its two sister islands of the Mascarenes - Reunion and Mauritius,
lies in a
picture postcard lagoon twice its own size.
At Mourouk,
on the South-East coast, next to the village of Port Sud-Est facing a large
winding channel 'La Grande Passe'
is a Creole style hotel complex that strikes you with its red roofs: the Mourouk Ebony.
Here the wild savannah rushes to meet the immense lagoon that protects the bay
from the Indian Ocean,
the
outback and the ocean combining to give a serene atmosphere of relaxation and self discovery.
30 air-conditioned rooms of
which 20 are adjoining.
All rooms have a spectacular view of the lagoon
and are equipped with private bathroom (shower), refrigerator, tropical ceiling
fan and terrace.
It is also possible to include an extra bed or cot upon request.

served in the shelter of a vast terrace, defined by the attractive local

THE NEW OCEANE SUITE
The new Oceane Suite is a
very original idea.
It is in fact the Presidential Suite, with its two 55m² luxury rooms, kitchen
and lounge at ground floor level
and two 20m² bedrooms with their mezzanines on the
first floor.
Set in an exclusive setting overlooking the beach, secluded from the other hotel
amenities,
it guarantees a tranquil environment in the best Rodriguan tradition.
Its private swimming pool and Jacuzzi and its personalized service make
it the most desirable choice.
As the whole Suite would have
possibly been too large for one reason or another,
either for couples keen to preserve a high level of intimacy
or simply for families willing to indulge in a unique holiday experience,

The lagoon
with its impressive coral barrier reef, is crossed through by numerous channels
oozing out to the open sea.
The 'Bouba Diving Centre', based at the Mourouk Ebony Hotel, has the perfect
location.
Divers will find here, in an unspoilt environment, a docile fauna protected by
legislation
which has banned underwater spear fishing for the last twenty years.
The hotel
also offers a range of complimentary sports: swimming pool, game of bowls,
archery, wind surf, canoes, skin diving equipment, various outdoor games such as
beach volley, tennis volley, Frisbees, "beach ball", kites, full range of indoor

The Mini Club for children of 03 to 11 years occupies our youngest guests in the
playground equipped with swings and see saw, beach games,
mountain biking
(selected track), video, indoor games etc, all with specially trained
