LEGENDS, a new four star luxury hotel, lies in the centre of the fishing village of Grand Gaube, 
not far from Grand Bay, in the north-eastern corner of Mauritius. 

This beautiful bay, which stretches as far as the distant horizon, is an invigorating setting for both mind and body. 

The hotel's concept is based on the principles of Feng Shui, an ancient philosophy with its roots in China, 
enabling guests to experience the art of living in harmony with the environment. 

LEGENDS is where the five elements are: water, wood, fire, earth and metal. 
Their corresponding colours, are in harmonious balance, 
a feast of colour and shape, of sound, of scent and taste for the 5 senses

Around a heavenly little cove, Legends, a luxury 4 star, was created with a vision towards a new dimension:. Freshness, harmony with the environment and the soft blending of colours are the prime objectives.

Water, earth, wood, fire and metal set off one another and introduce the basic concepts of Feng Shui to visitors. This philosophy, implanted in ancient China,
 is based on the principle that human beings must live in harmony with themselves and their surroundings.

- 126 superior rooms (48 m2)
The main element chosen is Metal enhanced with Earth and Water.

- 46 Deluxe rooms (58 m2)
The main element chosen is Water enhanced with Wood and Metal.

SUITES

- 23 junior suites (78 m2)
The main element chosen is Wood enhanced with Water and Fire.

- 2 senior suites (98 m2)
The main element chosen is Earth enhanced with Fire and Metal.

VILLA
The Emperor Villa (288 m2) 
The jewel in the crown, with the 5 Feng Shui elements, includes 2 bedrooms (2nd bedroom with bunk beds). 
It is fitted with a modern kitchenette, 1 jacuzzi and a private outdoor stone garden with a pool,
 a barbecue area and a gazebo. 
The main feature of this villa is its private beach.
A suite with 2 extra bedrooms is also attached to the villa.

The half-board "GINKGO"
Every morning, this restaurant (seating 250) will serve a full buffet breakfast. 
In the evenings there will be a daily rotation between cultural buffets, table d'hote and gala dinners.
 This restaurant will only open for lunch for private functions held in the conference centre.

 LA BASTIDE 
This beach Bar and Grill, seating 80, will open for lunch, serving specialties from the Mediterranean region. 
Theme evenings will be held here three times a week.

KARMA HOUSE
The hotel's prestige dining room will seat 70, specialising in an "East meets West" cuisine each evening. 
This split-level restaurant will have an open kitchen, a walk in-wine cellar and an outdoor terrace.

ABALONE
Silver oysters and pearly shellfish alternate with scarlet red crayfish twice a week. 
A seafood restaurant which is characterized by the freshness of its products

BARS AND LOUNGE

Pool bar "GRAND BLEU" 
Strategically located, this will be the heart of the hotel serving a large,
 international selection of drinks from 10 am until midnight. 
In addition to drinks, this bar will also serve snacks and light lunches 
and traditional Mauritian pancakes in the afternoons. 
Brunch every Sunday will comprise the traditional Dim Sum. 
Two to three times a week, our lobster evenings will be held on the pool deck. 

Beach Bar 
Located alongside the Grill area, the bar will also deal with all beach service/requests.

"Spirit Bar and Lounge"
This will be the elegant place to rendez-vous for a drink before and after dinner. 
It will also offer a large selection of Havana cigars, a beautiful collection of books (library) 
and games such as Chinese checkers and Mah Jong. 
The speciality of this lounge will be its Champagne and Caviar corner, enhanced by relaxing music.

THALASPA
A concept based on a combination of Thalasso and Spa, the Thalaspa is the core of well-being.

For those who feel energetic, the complex includes a seawater pool, a high-tech gym and tai chi courses.

Our health/nutritional advisor is at your disposal to answer any questions or help you with a programme, 
tailored to your needs.

WATER SPORTS
Free of charge - Windsurf, pedalo, kayak, minisail, snorkelling, glass bottom boat and water skiing.
For a fee - Power-boat tours, scuba diving (P.A.D.I.), big game fishing and parascending.
Diving
If you wish to go diving whilst staying at the hotel,
whether you are a beginner or an experienced diver, 
please read about the hotel diving centre before booking your dives
 
Free of charge - Gym, sauna, beach volley, table tennis, bocci ball, darts, floodlit tennis courts and mini-golf.
For a fee - Massage parlour, mountain bikes, pool tables and electronic games.

ENTERTAINMENT
Every evening, our visitors are entertained by a local band. 
Various cabarets and shows are organised on a regular basis.

Children
MINI CLUB 
 The little mermaid and The Trendy New Teens Club 
At the mini club, which is open from 09h00 to 21h00, 
three qualified hostesses entertain youngsters ranging from 3 to 11 years old. 
A babysitting service is also available on request, for a fee. 
Children's dinner is served in the main restaurant, from 18h00 to 19h00, 
for the convenience of both parents and children.

The teenagers' club promises days of fun-packed activities.
