LOCATION
InterContinental Mauritius Resort Balaclava Fort, is located on one of the most stunning parts of this island – a pristine stretch of beach looking out over the Bay of Balaclava, just north of the capital, Port Louis. It is 15 minutes’ drive from the main tourist region of Grand Bay, and 50 minutes’ drive from Plaisance International Airport.
 

ACCOMMODATION
The hotel has 140 Deluxe Ocean rooms, 20 Deluxe Terrace rooms which have whirlpool and private roof terraces, tastefully laid out for our guests’ greatest comfort. To complement this the hotel also features 40 Family Rooms and 10 Presidential Suites complete with their own private hot tubs, terraces and balconies, all beautifully designed for guests to relax and enjoy the most of the stunning views of the Indian Ocean.

All rooms are equipped with Internet access, 42-inch LCD television, air conditioning and have 24-hour room service. Every bathroom features a bathtub, walk-in shower, double basin, 17-inch LCD television.

Angsana Spa is based on the use of aromatherapy, the therapeutic sense of touch, and a fusion of techniques from the East and West to refresh and rejuvenate the body, mind and spirit. It is conceptualized and managed by the award-winning Banyan Tree Spa. Angsana Spa features seven treatment rooms including two double rooms for couples, designed with contemporary vibrancy and serenity to complement the authentic spa experience.
