This popular full-day trip will also take you to the famous "Casela Bird Park" which is situated in the Black River district and covers around 8 acres of land. Birds from all five continents can be found there thus over 1,500 birds of 140 different species. 

One of the main attractions is one of the rarest birds in the world: the “Pink Pigeon". Come and watch them. After the renovation last year Casela now shines in its entire splendour. It offers also some new specialties like fishing for shrimps as well as a mini golf. 

Tortoises, monkeys, leopards and even tigers can be seen in this wonderful park. The variety of plants in the park is also impressive: depending on the season many orchids are to be seen in their full magnificence and numerous trees and small bubbling streams invite you to relax.

Quatre Bornes is a calm and pleasant town with a number of shops and shopping centres, the best known being the Orchard Centre, which has a supermarket, restaurants and many shops offering a whole variety of products. Another very popular shopping attraction in Quatre Bornes is its textile market (a kind of souk) held every Thursday. It specialises in clothes, usually factory end of lines that are sold at very attractive prices ... and you can bargain which is another attraction. Stalls of colourful tropical fruits and vegetables are found side by side with medicinal plants and spices. There is also a special arts and crafts section.
