Mauritius although the best season for marlin is from October to April.

Mauritius is a real deep-sea fishing
paradise.
You would be able to try your luck with blue marlins, black marlins, sharks,
yellow-fin tunas, skipjack tunas, sailfish, wahoos, and barracudas among others.
These predators feed close to the island where the sea bed falls up to a depth
of 4000m

Mauritius has such a reputation that every year a world
class competition, the Marlin World Cup, is organised, with anglers coming
from all parts of the globe.

Among other specimens caught more recently are blue marlins of 1430 lbs and 1355 lbs. |
Our deep-sea fishing boats are adequately equipped with ship-to-shore radio, G.P.S (Global Positioning by Satellite), GSM telephone and the trawling equipments (Penn & Shimano) for both live baits and artificial lures. Our boats can be shared by upto three anglers as they have one fighting chair in the stern and outriggers to troll five baits at a time. They are also equipped with tackle and all amenities as well as security equipments. This enables the skipper to keep in constant contact with other boats as well as the coast guards for your safety.
