Trou d'Eau Douce (East coast)

Trou d'Eau Douce - Trou D’Eau Douce with its beautiful turquoise bay is a picturesque village on the east coast of Mauritius. The village has developed in the past few years mainly by reason of its proximity to Ile aux Cerfs and the well known hotels Touessrok and St. Géran.

 Les Corbijeaux

This newly built semi-detached house consists of two comfortably furnished totally independent properties:
the larger one, The Villa, which sleeps 6/7 and The Apartment, which sleeps 4/5. They are rented individually.

La Villa

• Spacious lounge with seating elements, a TV with satellite reception, a direct connection to the terrace and an excellent view over the ocean.
• A dining area with a large dining table and chairs at a slightly raised level above the lounge. A small WC is close to this area.
• A kitchen with a 4 plate gas cooker, a small electric cooker/grill, microwave oven, large refrigerator with freezer, a dish-washer, and other equipment
  such as an electric kettle, a snackwich maker and coffee machine.
• A hair dryer
• A small terrace at the rear of the house with table and chairs and BBQ equipment
• A Garage for car parking
• There are 3 bedrooms offering accommodation up to 6 people on the 1st floor plus a sofa bed in the lounge on the ground floor
  • Bedroom 1: a double bed with it's own bathroom with shower/WC and bidet and an excellent view over the ocean through the window and cooler fan
  • Bedroom 2: a double bed with an excellent ocean view through the window and fan
  • Bedroom 3: a double bed with fan and a safe
  • Sofa bed in the lounge

There is an additional bathroom with shower/WC and bidet on the 1st floor.

 The Apartment

 Directly attached to the villa is an apartment with 2 bedrooms which has outside passageways to the main house at both the ground floor and 1st floor levels

• Kitchenette with 2 plate gas cooker, microwave oven, electric kettle and toaster, coffee maker and snackwhich maker
• An American bar facing the lounge.
• Lounge with table and chairs, a TV with local channels and satellite reception, and direct access to a balcony with an excellent view over the ocean.
• Bedroom 1: double bed and fan, and it's own bathroom with shower/WC and bidet. There is also an excellent view onto the ocean over the balcony and a safe
• Bedroom 2: 2 single beds and its own bathroom with shower and WC.
• Sofa bed

  • The outside gates separating the two properties can be kept closed for convenience, making each property totally independent and private if rented individually.

A taxi stand at the entrance of a nearby hotel is 2 minutes walk away
