Trou aux Biches is by far the most sought after beach resort in Mauritius. It owes its popularity with discerning regular visitors mainly owing to its safe bathing for children, perfect conditions for snorkelling (either in its lagoon or along its reefs), and its fine silver sand. Its amenities include water and other sports (water-skiing, paragliding, snorkelling, sailing, etc), several restaurants and a casino. A useful local amenity is Popo Supermarket (a small but well stocked grocery store where you can find practically everything from fresh French baguettes to the best wines). Trou aux Biches boasts several restaurants: from the very popular snack-bar-cum-restaurant-bar where many tourists enjoy the local fare at local prices to the gourmet restaurants all within easy walking distance.

A charming 2-bedroom villa, newly furnished in Balinese style wood and rattan, ideally located in a spacious tropical garden giving directly on to the superb beach of Trou aux Biches with its beautiful sunsets and safe swimming within a blue lagoon protected by coral reefs. The property is 75 minutes from the airport by car but only minutes away from banks and doctors and next-door to  4* Trou aux Biches Hotel.  A pharmacy as well as a small well-stocked supermarket (Chez Popo) is within 500m and several restaurants offering various cuisines are available in the vicinity.

Inside
 A cosy and comfortable living room opens on to a spacious terraced veranda facing the sea and boasting a tastefully furnished sitting area as well as a dining table and chairs facing the sea. There is a small office with two desks in a mezzanine.
Both bedrooms (one with a double bed and the other with 2 single beds which can be pushed together) have air-con and direct access to the terrace facing the sea.
2 bath-rooms/wc with shower (one with a double vanity unit and one single). 
Fully equipped kitchen. Laundry area.

 Neighbourhood
Water-skiing, windsurfing, wakeboard, parasailing, pedalo and glass-bottom boat excursions are all easily available along the beach. Trou aux Biches Hotel boat house is right  next-door.  Other activities include deep-sea fishing (Big Game Fishing Centre 500m), scuba diving (Blue Water Diving Centre (500m), sun-downing cruises by catamaran in the lagoon, catamaran excursions to the small islands in the North.   In nearby Grand-Bay (15 minutes by car): underwater excursions in submarine, underwater sea-scooters, scuba-diving,  hypermarket, an array of restaurants as well as tax-free shopping at Sunset Boulevard boutiques.  Nature lovers should not miss a visit to the SSR Botanical Garden in Pamplemousses. Other may prefer an exciting evening at the Trou aux Biches Casino nearby.
