La Villa Sublime
Overview
Charming 4 bedroom
villa situated in a tropical garden with a sundowner area with a table and
bench carved in stone, overlooking the private and quiet beach of Roches
Noires, on the north-east coast of the island. The black rocks on the beach
are in direct contrast with the white sand, the turquoise lagoon and the
foaming waves crashing on the coral reefs. Good swimming in front of the
villa. A hire car is essential in view of its location from essential
services like supermarkets, doctors, banks and restaurants (15 to 25 minutes
by car). The villa is 75 minutes from the airport by car. It is the ideal
choice for a large family or group of friends as it is situated next-door to
3 other villas which feature in our portfolio.
Inside
Ground Floor: The large open veranda, with its wooden garden
furniture and wooden trestle table and chairs seating 8 people, offers
superb views of the lagoon down below. The spacious sitting-room/dining-room
is furnished with comfortable rattan armchairs as well as a dining wooden
table and chairs for 8. This airy room has large doors opening on to the
veranda and its sea views. A bay leads to an well-equipped American kitchen
which has a window facing the sea. Laundry room. The master bedroom has a
ceiling fan, a double bed, an en suite shower-room/WC with double wash basin
and superb sea views through a large bay window. The children’s bedroom has
a ceiling fan, 2 bunk beds + 1 single bed. Separate shower/WC.
First Floor: Bedroom 3 has a ceiling fan, a double bed, a
child’s bed, an en suite shower-room/WC and a sea view. Across the landing
is a mezzanine games room with a double bed for the use of 2 children.

Others
Fridge-freezer, gas stove/electric oven,
microwave, electric kettle, toaster, dishwasher, washing machine, telephone
(local calls only).
Staff
Maid service for 3 hours daily (except on Sundays and bank holidays).
Neighbourhood
Several of the best hotels on the island (5*
One & Only St Geran and Le Prince Maurice) are close by. A selection of
restaurants and shops are within a 15 minute drive at Belle-Mare, Trou
d’Eau Douce and Flacq. Bustling Grand Baie (30 minutes by car on north
coast) offers catamaran excursions, underwater sea-scooters, scuba diving, a
hypermarket, an array of restaurants and smart duty-free boutiques at Sunset
Boulevard. Activities nearby include deep-sea fishing (October to June),
kite surf, wind surf, catamaran excursions to GRSE waterfall or Ile aux
Cerfs which also boasts lovely beaches and a professional golf course. A
professional golf course in Belle-Mare is also available to non-residents.
Nearby Domaine de l’Etoile offers a table d’hôte as well as trekking, 4 x 4
ranging, mountain biking, quad tours and archery.
