West Coast
Further South on the West coast one reaches Tamarin, with its new Tamarina Golf Course, and popular with those looking for exhilarating surfing, then Riviere Noire long known as the hub of big game fishing where one holidays at a slower pace, before reaching the coast of Petite Riviere Noire where there are a few appealing properties with pool in quiet regions on the beach but more than a km from the main road. Further South still is Le Morne with its several beach hotels and Golf Course at the Paradis & Dinarobin hotels. This coast is dryer than the north coast and generally not yet spoilt by tourism and enjoys an all year round warm climate Also to be noted that no less than 2 well stocked supermarkets (European style) are now operating on this stretch of coast.

VILLA VANILLE

Overview

Charming 3-bedroom villa with pool on 1 level for a maximum of 6 persons
consisting of the master bedroom and a second bedroom in the main body of the villa itself,
and the third independent bedroom with a separate entrance from the outside corridor.
It is ideally situated right on the beach of La Preneuse (typical fishing village of olden days),
with spectacular views of the turquoise lagoon and mountains of Black River, on the West coast of the island.
Well secluded from properties around it, it enjoys a very peaceful garden with an inviting pool
and a passage leading to a private access to the beach.

Inside

The air-conditioned master bedroom with TV has an en suite bathroom and opens onto the terrace
Bedroom 2 & 3 with are also air-conditioned and have en suite bathrooms

All 3 double bedrooms have 2 mattresses of 180cm x 90cm each and pushed together to form a king-size bed.
They all have mosquito nets and their en suite consists of shower, washbasin and bidet.
All windows have security bars.

The eating corner and lounge consist of a covered patio/terrace by the swimming pool, equipped with sun loungers

Big Fridge/Freezer, electric oven, 4-ring gas stove, dishwasher, kettle, toaster and microwave

Staff

Maid hours 08h30 – 12h30 Monday to Saturday and a gardener comes daily 08h00-12h00 for the garden and the pool.
No service on public holidays

Neighbourhood

Many of Mauritius top class hotels are within close proximity offering a wide range of restaurants of different cuisines. Activities available nearby include deep-sea fishing, kite surfing, sea cruise among dolphins on catamaran, sightseeing at Parc National des Gorges, Casela Leisure Park with its 1500 different species of birds, its elands, zebras and wallabies. Entertainment and sports at Park Adventure, horse riding, mountain bike riding and hiking. Quad biking excursions and Via Ferrata. Tennis, swimming pool and restaurant facilities at Riverland, a friendly club in Tamarin. Golf facilities at Le Paradis or Tamarina Golf Course. There are also a few casinos at Flic en Flac and Le Morne.
