Overview
A 3-bedroom villa situated in a garden overlooking the beautiful beach and bay of La Preneuse near Black River, typical fishing village on the West coast of the island. The property is approximately 100 m from London supermarket, 1 km from the shops, banks and restaurants of Black River and 3 km from Tamarin.
45 minutes from the airport by car.

Inside
Ground Floor: The lounge/dining-room gives on to an open veranda furnished with a trestle table & benches for “al fresco” meals as well as chairs.  The veranda, with raffia blinds to protect from the sun, offers a superb view of the bay and Le Morne mountain in the background. It steps down to a lawned area facing the sea, with a bench, sun umbrella and sun loungers. The main bedroom is air-conditioned and has a double bed, an en suite shower-room/wc and sea views.
Separate WC.  Well equipped kitchen
First Floor: Bedroom 2 has a double bed and a sea view. Bedroom 3 has 2 single beds and a sea view. Separate shower-room/WC.
A second bedroom has now been air-conditioned

A few of Mauritius upmarket hotels offering a wide range of activities as well as restaurants of different cuisines are within close proximity.  There is also a choice of restaurants nearby.  Activities include deep-sea fishing, surfing, kite-surfing, catamaran excursions to see the dolphins, windsurfing, deep-sea diving on the “Aquarium” site on the reefs of Black River, horse-riding/hiking/mountain-biking (Les Ecuries de la Vieilles Cheminée at Chamarel), Quad biking excursions and Via Ferrata with Casela/Yemen Nature Escapade.  Sightseeing at Parc National des Gorges and visits to Casela Leisure Park (with its 1500 different birds, its elands, zebras and wallabies), Park Adventure (sport and entertainment), Riverland (tennis, restaurant and swimming pool).  Golf enthusiasts will enjoy the excellent 18-hole course at Tamarina (3 km) and Le Paradis Hotel at Le Morne (20 minutes by car).
