Brush up on your golf tactics, learn all about the island or dig into our substantial collection of novels, comics or DVD’s The fully equipped, state-of-the-art Nirvana kitchen comes with a private chef who will indulge your taste buds all week long. You choose the menu, your private chef does the rest. At Nirvana all foods and drinks are inclusive (see conditions). You set the timing and the menu's. You choose the menu, your chef does the rest. Let him know which particular dish whets your appetite or let him surprise you with mouth-watering local specialties. Why not ask him for a Creole-cooking lesson? You and your guests need only ask. The Suites of villa Nirvana (click to view pictures) The larger ‘Master suite’ takes the concept of Creole luxury a step further with extra space, extra facilities, an enormous luxury tub and a wraparound patio. The bedroom is equipped with a kingsize bed with canopy, a desk with computer and printer, a flatscreen tv with dvd-player and a Böse Docking Station. The terrace loungers offer a splendid view over the Nirvana garden and the armchair with ottoman is the perfect setting for catching up on your reading. The suite also offers a double dressing, a toilet with bidet, and a very spacious bathroom. And that's not a lie. The Master Suite Bathroom extends the luxury you'll find in the villa to the bathroom. The double bathroom sink, the rainshower for two and the enormous luxury tub will make you enjoy every moment you spend here. The patio that surrounds the bathroom is fully excluded from the garden and offers an ecstatic outdoor shower. Enjoy a shower between the luscious green and admire the starlit heaven above you. The Nirvana suites reflect the ethnic diversity of the island. The four suites all contain elements of one of the four main Mauritian cultures: The Creole Master suite, the Chinese suite, the Indian suite, the African suite. Each suite has a bedroom with a European 2,2m x 2,2m king-sized bed. The bed which is fabricated out of tropical wood is equipped with mattresses of the finest European quality. The linen is exclusive Egyptian coton, so even at night you are surrounded by luxury. Each suite also has a dressing with hardwood floors, high ceilings, a terrace with a designer lounge chair, a chic and comfortable bathroom with bathtub and indoor shower and a patio with simply irresistible outdoor shower facilities. Air conditioning, a safe and a Böse Docking Station are available in every suite so you won't miss out on your favorite tunes. Forget what you know about verandas, porches or patios. In Mauritius, the “varangue” is the most important room of the house. Live in the open air, sheltered from the tropical sun by the authentic varangue roof. The Varangue overlooks the garden with stunning mountain views and features a highly comfortable dining area for al fresco living. Once you've enjoyed a delicious outdoor breakfast or lunch, you can withdraw to the Varangue's lounge area. In the luxury Dedon lounge beds you can read your up to date international newspaper, listen to your music selection or just go for a siesta surrounded by warm soothing colours. In our garage, two golf carts are at your disposal to tee it up or chauffeur your friends to the private beach club nearby. If you feel a bit more adventurous, two all-terrain bicycles and two Golf Segways are at your disposal to explore the outer limits and inner mysteries of the island

Designer loungers are thoughtfully positioned in secluded areas for outside relaxation. The outskirts of the garden naturally fade into the fairway of the third hole of the Tamarina championship golf course. Too hot? The cooling allure of the private limestone Nirvana pool is never far away. The 11x5m luxury infinity pool, though naturally heated by the sun, has a reliable back-up heating system for colder nights and is surrounded by designer chairs and loungers for basking comfortably in the Mauritian sun. There are plenty of watertoys to pass the day and our poolbar and poolside BBQ provide all the snacks and energy to go all day long. The cool breeze of the Gazebo fan offers the much needed refreshment during the heat of the day. Whether you like to sip from one of the delicious Nirvana cocktails or just hear the birds chirp, our poolside Gazebo is the excellent spot for lounging with a view. As a Nirvana guest, you can enjoy a private massage at our garden pavilion or in a quiet part of the garden. Whether you want a relaxing massage to start your holidays or you prefer a hands-on Swedish massage, at Nirvana everything is possible. A team of experts is available to our guests. Just ask the experience manager and he will arrange everything When you take a stroll around the 6000m2 Nirvana gardens, don’t forget to stop and smell the flowers. Or the fresh lemongrass. Try some of the delicious tropical fruits growing all around you: there are pineapples, date palm trees, grapefruit trees, orange trees and coconut trees to be enjoyed by you and you only. Secluded lounge areas with designer chairs and lounge beds dotting the garden will maximize your enjoyment of the climate in an atmosphere of quiet and tasteful luxury. Standing on the sunny west coast of Mauritius, Tamarina Golf, Spa and Beach Club boasts one of the finest golf courses on the island. The Tamarina Golf Club & The Beach Club (click to view pictures) The Tamarina Golf Club encompasses a 43-hectare 18-hole Championship golf course, a Pro Centre, a modern panoramic Club House with restaurant and bar, a Pro Shop and boutique, showers and bag storage facilities and tennis courts. If you’ve seen one beach, you’ve seen them all, right? Wrong. As a Nirvana guest, you can stretch out on the beautiful private beach bordering the secured domain. Enjoy the white sand and blue ocean water in perfect comfort and quiet. We’ve even set up a private beach club for you which offers a stunning view over the Tamarin Bay and the Indian Ocean. But why would you go to the same beach every day? Get away from the tourists and live like a local in paradise. The Nirvana team will be happy to set up a picnic or a barbecue session at one of the unspoilt beaches only the locals know about. The beautiful and exotic Tamarina Championship Golf Course is located at the edge of your garden and is exclusively reserved for guests at the resort. Oh, and for the local monkeys, which roam around freely around here. Don’t worry; they’ve learned to dodge the balls by now. Drive your own private golf carts across the greens, passing rivers, waterfalls and African savannah-style oases. The Par 72 championship golf course has been designed by Wright Golf Design, headed by world famous designer Rodney Wright who is renowned for his courses in USA, Australia, Africa, Asia, Japan, Philippines and Mauritius. Likewise, the landscaping of holes and surrounds has been contracted out to an international team. Greens are lush carpets of an ultradwarf Bermuda grass called “Champion”. The landscaping grasses include Fataque, Citronella, Red Grass, Sikine, Vetiver and Lemon Grass. The holes have been specially designed to give spectacular views of Mount Rempart and the towering mountain range. When your game has ended, you can drive your cart right back to the villa to brag about your improved handicap. No queuing necessary at any time. If you want to play a different course the next day, there are no less than seven other championship courts within an hour’s drive.
