Further
South on the West coast one reaches Tamarin, with its new Tamarina Golf
Course, and popular with those looking for exhilarating surfing, then
Riviere Noire long known as the hub of big game fishing
where one holidays at a slower pace, before reaching the coast of Petite
Riviere Noire where there are a few appealing properties with pool in quiet
regions on the beach but more than a km from the main road. Further South
still is Le Morne with its several beach hotels and Golf Course at the
Paradis & Dinarobin hotels. This coast is dryer than the north coast and
generally not yet spoilt by tourism and enjoys an all year round warm
climate Also to be noted that no less than 2 well stocked supermarkets
(European style) are now operating on this stretch of coast.

Overview
This delightful 3-bedroom thatched-roof
villa is situated in a
beautiful tropical garden (with a private swimming pool at the back) giving
directly on to a nice white beach in La Preneuse, Black River, typical fishing
village on the West coast of the island.
The front garden offers a large area of shade next to the beach and inviting
lagoon beyond.
The property is in close proximity to supermarkets, shops, banks and
restaurants
and is around 20 minutes from the main hotels of Le Morne and Flic en Flac and
45 minutes from the airport by car.
Inside
The comfortably furnished sitting-room/dining-room has a
ceiling fan
and gives on to a large open veranda with ceiling fan and rattan armchairs.
All 3 bedrooms have both air-conditioning and ceiling fans.
Main bedroom has a double bed and an en suite shower-room/WC.
Bedroom 2 has 2 single beds and an en suite shower-room/WC.
Bedroom 3 has 2 single beds. Separate
third shower room
& WC. Well equipped kitchen.
Equipment – Kitchen & Others
Gas stove/electric fan oven, fridge-freezer, microwave,
electric kettle, toaster, washing machine, dish-washer, double sink,
coffee-maker, combination safe, BBQ, alarm system.
Staff
Maid service daily from 08:00 – 12:00 (except on Sundays
and bank holidays).
Neighbourhood
A few of Mauritius upmarket
hotels offering a wide range of activities as well as restaurants of
different cuisines are within close proximity. There is also a choice of
restaurants nearby. Activities include shopping at the smart boutiques of
Ruisseau Créole, deep-sea fishing, surfing, kite-surfing, catamaran
excursions to see the dolphins, windsurfing, deep-sea diving on the
“Aquarium” site on the reefs of Black River,
horse-riding/hiking/mountain-biking (Les Ecuries de la Vieille Cheminée at
Chamarel), Quad biking excursions and Via Ferratta with Casela/Yemen Nature
Escapade. Sightseeing at Parc National des Gorges and visits to Casela
Leisure Park (with its 1500 different birds, its elands, zebras and
wallabies), Park Adventure (sport and entertainment), Riverland (tennis,
restaurant and swimming pool - 3 km). Golf enthusiasts will enjoy the
excellent 18-hole course at Tamarina (3 km) and Le Paradis Hotel at Le Morne
(20 minutes by car). Casinos at Le Morne and nearby Flic en Flac. Bars and
discos for night birds in Flic en Flac.
