Further South on the West coast one reaches Tamarin, with its new Tamarina Golf Course, and popular with those looking for exhilarating surfing, then Riviere Noire long known as the hub of big game fishing where one holidays at a slower pace, before reaching the coast of Petite Riviere Noire where there are a few appealing properties with pool in quiet regions on the beach but more than a km from the main road. Further South still is Le Morne with its several beach hotels and Golf Course at the Paradis & Dinarobin hotels. This coast is dryer than the north coast and generally not yet spoilt by tourism and enjoys an all year round warm climate Also to be noted that no less than 2 well stocked supermarkets (European style) are now operating on this stretch of coast.

Supermarkets, shops, boutiques and banks are within proximity as well as a Deep Sea Fishing centre and a tennis club (Riverland – Tamarin). 3 golf courses are within easy travelling distance: Tamarina Golf Estate (20 mns by car), Paradis Golf Course (15 mns by car) and Golf du Chateau (Bel Ombre – around 40 minutes by car). Accommodation Ground Floor The living/dining room is furnished with comfortable sofas and armchair, coffee table, side boards and TV (Satellite channels). The dining area has a table and chairs seating 6 people. A patio door leads to a creole style covered terrace with lovely sea views, rattan armchairs, coffee table, dining table and benches for alfresco meals and raffia blinds to protect from the sun. All bedrooms boast air con and a ceiling fan. Bedroom 1: 2 Single beds (1m90 x 90cm), bedside tables, wardrobe, sea view and direct access to the garden. Shower room with shower and wash basin. Separate WC. Fully equipped kitchen with sea view: Fridge-freezer, gas cooker with 4 gas rings and electric oven, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, kettle, coffee-maker and washing machine. Laundry room with ironing facilities. Air-conditioned studio at the back of the villa: Double bed (2m x 1m90), bedside tables and lamps, en suite shower room with shower, wash basin and WC.
