Le Morne - With
the now famous Le Morne kite-surf spot on the tip of Le Morne peninsula
attracting kite surfers to Le Morne, we are pleased to offer some apartments
besides our luxury villas. All the 5-star hotels have been built along the
exclusive beach of the peninsula leaving private accommodation (villas, studios
and apartments) sharing a gated estate on the lower slopes of the hill
overlooking the Paradis Hotel golf course.
Other hotels close by: Dina Robin, Les Pavillons, and The
Indian Resort.
Other than the hotel beaches, there are public beaches
separating some of these hotels. The nearest
is some 800m from the residential area along the road past the Paradis and Dina
Robin hotels, and the famous kite surf spot is another 2km further along that
road on the public beach between Les Pavillons hotel and The Indian Resort hotel
Les Trochetias
"LesTrochetias" is a very comfortable complex on Le
Morne peninsula overlooking the bay beyond the Golf Course of Le Paradis
Hotel and is set in a large tropical garden with a good size swimming pool.
It comprises:
4 two-bedroom apartments (2 on the ground floor & 2 on the first floor)
6 one-bedroom studios (3 on the ground floor & 3 on the first floor)
Each of the 4 apartments communicate with a studio to
accommodate parties of 6 persons.

Located at the foot of the impressive UNESCO World Heritage Le Morne Brabant
Mountain, Le Morne beach in the southwest offers everything any level of
kite-surfer could wish for, boasting extremely steady and consistent trade
winds, blowing side-shore from the left that have travelled over the sea
unabated for 4000 miles. This location is also reputed for the huge waves
that break at One-Eye that have appeared in every kite-boarding magazine.
Not all spots around the island offer such a spectacular scenery though but
there are also a number of locations where you can learn and practice
kite-surf safely. As usual, it is always good to respect locals and ask
their advice in certain spots where it can get very busy!
