Le Morne - With
the now famous Le Morne kite-spot on the tip of Le Morne peninsula attracting
kite surfers to Le Morne, we are pleased to offer some apartments besides our
luxury villas. All the 5-star hotels have been built along the exclusive beach
of the peninsula leaving private accommodation (villas, studios and apartments)
sharing a gated estate on the lower slopes of the hill overlooking the Paradis
Hotel golf course.
Other hotels close by: Dina Robin, Les Pavillons, and The
Indian Resort.
Villa Paille en Queue 2 Villa Paille en
Queue 2 consists of two newly-built independent living areas with a
swimming pool, situated at the foot of the Morne Brabant mountain, on the
south-west coast of the island. The main living areas has 2 double bedrooms
and a large mezzanine which can accommodate up to 4 children..
With its colonial shingle roof of olden days, it is built from
architectural antiques carefully collected by the owners over a number of
years. The swimming pool has a wooden deck which leads directly on to the
spacious open veranda of the adjoining one-bedroom bungalow, a practical
style allowing maximum usage of the outdoors to create a living area as
well as a resting area with sun loungers. Both living areas have direct
access to the pool which opens on to a lawn with a small BBQ area, flower
borders and tropical fruit trees. It is rented as one property and it
provides ideal holiday accommodation for a large family or group of
friends. A car is essential. 20 minutes’ drive from Black River/Tamarin
with its banks, chemists, supermarket, doctors, shops and array of small
restaurants. 75 minutes from the airport by car. The two-floor living area – Ground Floor: 2 bedrooms with air-con, double bed and en suite shower-room/WC each. One has direct access to the swimming pool and the other accesses the garden. Upstairs: The sitting room and equipped American kitchen open on to a wrap-around covered balcony with dining furniture and superb views of the ocean. The mezzanine children’s room has a fan, a double bed + a single bed + a single foam mattress sleep-over. Please note that the children will have to use the shower-rooms/WCs in the ground-floor bedrooms.
Equipment – Kitchen & Others The Bungalow: Fridge-freezer, 4-ring gas hob, microwave, electric kettle, coffee-maker. Washing machine, Webber BBQ, generator of electricity in case of prolonged power failure. The 2-floor area: Fridge-freezer, 4-ring gas hob, microwave, electric kettle, TV.
Staff Daily maid service from 08:30 to 14:00 (except on Sundays and bank holidays). Should the maid be required on Sundays, her working hours are 08:30 to midday and at additional cost. A gardener is in attendance 3 times a week. NeighbourhoodA few Mauritius top class hotels are nearby and offer
water sports facilities (for a fee) and a choice of excellent restaurants to
non-residents. Within close proximity is Tamarin and Black River with their
shops, supermarkets, chemists and array of restaurants offering various
cuisines. Activities nearby include kite surf, wind surf, sea excursions by
catamaran to Ile aux Cerfs and Ile aux Bénitiers, sightseeing at Parc
National des Gorges, Casela Leisure Park (1500 species of birds, elands,
zebras, wallabies, etc), horse riding (Les Ecuries de la Vieille Cheminée at
Chamarel), mountain bike riding, hiking, Quad bike excursions and Via
Ferratta, tennis (Riverland in Tamarin), golf at Le Paradis Golf Course (Le
Morne) and Le Golf du Chateau at Bel Ombre (20 minutes by car), casino (Le
