Italian restaurant and bar – « Mona Lisa »

Situated in the village square, the Place du Campanile, the « Mona Lisa » restaurant offers buffet style Italian cuisine, discovery or a la carte menus.

At this restaurant, you will find a mixture of both rustic and refined cuisine, whose delicacy and savour celebrate a gastronomy rich of cultural diversity. The Mona Lisa restaurant and its team will take you on a journey through the savours of traditional regional Italian cuisine including pizzas made following an ancient recipe from Naples, which are a must to be tasted.

The restaurant is open for lunch from 12:30 hrs to 14:30 hrs, and for dinner from 20:00 hrs to 22:30 hrs.

The Mona Lisa restaurant has a seating capacity of 70 inside the restaurant and on the terrace opening directly onto the village square, which overlooks this charming village and its river.

The team of the Mona Lisa restaurant welcomes the hotel guest and outsiders for a Happy Hour from 18:00 hrs to 19:00 hrs at the bar on the Place du Campanile. A means for our clientele to meet the people of Mauritius.

The hotel restaurant

On the ground floor of the hotel, right under the village steeple, the hotel’s restaurant offers a blend of Mauritian and international cuisine with a half-board or a la carte menu.

Enjoy a cuisine typical of Mauritius, boasting exotic “savoir-faire” and reflecting the multicultural character of Mauritius and the warmth of its inhabitants.

The restaurant is open for 3 meals – buffet breakfast from 07:00 hrs to 10:00 hrs, lunch from 12:00 hrs to 14:00 hrs and dinner from 19:30 hrs to 22:00 hrs. It can accommodate up to 70 guests inside and on the terrace by the pool.

The restaurant gives priority to hotel guests on half-board but is also open to all upon reservation.

« Le croissant » proposes a great choice of bread and pastry all day on the village square. This outlet offers also homemade coffee, tea, fresh exotic fruit juice, sorbets and ice cream, and in the afternoon, pancakes;

During the day, the delicatessen shop will a wide range of dishes prepared with care and passion by our chefs, local spices, typical produce of the island and a great selection of wines, all the essentials for an enjoyable gathering around the table of your villa.
