Poste Lafayette is a lovely and peaceful resort that reveals the authentic and unspoilt Mauritius, perfectly convenient for a peaceful stay and unforgettable souvenirs. Being on the East coast, whilst the other popular resorts in the west and north-west suffer from the heat during the summer months (November to February), Poste Lafayette remains cool and enjoys a pleasant climate.
 

Lafayette Beach Studios

Family run guesthouse and beach bungalows is a romantic hideaway for anyone looking for an escape to a peaceful haven.

It is an establishment with 10 rooms where the charm and intimacy of a guesthouse blends with the efficient service of a small hotel. Harmoniously set in a tropical garden alongside the sea, this unique place with convivial decor is the perfect getaway for those who dream to escape in a warm peaceful haven.
Built on a surface area of 4,225 mt², it consists of a Villa with 4 individual double bedded rooms, a complex of 6 double-bedded Bungalows, a bar-restaurant, 2 swimming pools, 2 private sand beaches with sun beds, a recreation ground and a private parking.

Situation
Nestled on the preserved and beautiful north-east coast of Mauritius, at Poste Lafayette.
It is 35 minutes drive away from both the capital city, Port-Louis and Grand-Bay, 30 minutes from Ile aux Cerfs and the Pamplemousses Botanical Garden, 15 minutes from Belle-Mare and 1 hour from the airport.

Accommodation
One-bedroom Beach Bungalows (25m˛)
Each Bungalow consists of a double or twin bed, a cabin shower bathroom with toilet and dressing, a fully equipped kitchenette, a lounge and a furnished terrace. The whole complex is sea facing and has a direct access to the fresh water pool and to the beach.
Five Bungalows are at ground floor, two of them are intercommunicated and one is on first floor with a balcony.
Daily room cleaning, linen and towels and 1 additional bed for a child up to 12 yrs old or a baby cot are provided free of charge.


The Villa and Rooms (40-60m˛)
Next to the Bungalows, the freshly renovated Villa consists of 4 rooms designed and toned with their natural and pure environment
facing the ocean.
3 of them lead to a wide common sea front terrace, ideal link for a family or a group to gather for meals and drinks.
Each room is independent but may also communicate to each other when necessary.
Spacious, elegant and comfortable, each room has a glass door which slides on to a private terrace facing the ocean and the pool. Each room comprises a double four-poster wooden bed with a ceiling fan, rattan furniture and an equipped mini-bar.
Each bathroom has a cabin shower, toilets, double sinks and a dressing. 
Three rooms are at ground floor, one of them has a twin bedded communicating room with bathroom conceived for families with 2 - 3 children. One of the rooms is on first floor nestled in the alcove of the thatch roof,
 benefiting of a splendid view and a wide private balcony; an ideal hideaway for honeymooners.

Services
All meals starting with breakfast at 8 :30 are served in the restaurant or in its sea view terrace in the garden

The "Auberg'Inn" Bar-Restaurant
The cosy and homely restaurant located on the garden side at the entrance of La Maison D’été is part of the Reception and the library lounge.
It proposes “ŕ la carte” a wide range of dishes prepared with local fresh products enhanced by a personalised and exclusive service on soft background jazz notes. The wine list has been selected with care to complement the different flavours.
The bar is open during the restaurant hours and proposes a card full of tropical and exotic cocktails
or other refreshing drinks specially dedicated to unforgettable holidays.

Free of charge Services:

9 and18 holes Golf courses, Kite Surf, diving, deep sea fishing, and spa centres are only a 10- 20 minutes drive away.
and Massage and Yoga sessions can be organised at the bungalows.

The owners and managers, a Swiss and Mauritian couple, are both polyglots with French, English, German, Italian and Spanish as main languages. They live on site and are therefore always available for the guests.
