Cap Malheureux
Cap Malheureux is a small fishing village located on the northernmost tip of Mauritius, just north of Grand Bay and Pereybere (2 miles from Pereybere). The red roof beach chapel is its well-known landmark and it offers magnificent views of some small islands off the coast, such as Ile Plate, famous for its lighthouse, Ile Ronde, a wildlife bird sanctuary, and Coin de Mire, an enormous rock of historical importance, since it was from there that the English secretly embarked on September 2, 1810 to win over the island from the French. It is home to several nice beach villas, some of which can now be rented. We have several in our portfolio and we invite you to view them. Climate-wise, Cap Malheureux is dry with a light sea breeze all year round.

This lovely 4-bedroom villa, tastefully decorated in a contemporary style, is situated in a landscaped garden, with its private infinity pool, overlooking the bay of Cap Malheureux, on the North coast of the island. Its  offers the opportunity of holidaying in a calm and relaxed environment whilst still being within close proximity to the resort of Grand Bay (5 minutes by car) with its array of restaurants and cafes and the smart boutiques of Sunset Boulevard.

Accommodation

The lounge/dining-room is spacious and tastefully furnished with a large corner sofa, coffee table, armchairs and ceiling fan. The dining area has a wooden table and chairs for 8 and 2 sideboards.

This room opens on to a large covered terrace offering great sea views, a seating area with a large corner sofa, coffee table, armchairs and a wooden dining table for 10 with 2 armchairs and 2 long benches.

The TV room boasts a corner sofa for 5, coffee table, plasma TV (Canal Plus Satellite channels), DVD and air con.

Bedroom 1: King-size bed, air-con, ceiling fan, wardrobe, 2 bedside tables and lamps, en suite shower-room with shower, wash basin and WC. A large sliding door gives direct access to a small private terrace, with 2 wooden armchair,  a small drinks table, sea views and access to the swimming pool and garden.

Well equipped kitchen with island and ceiling fan. Laundry room with washing machine, iron and ironing board.

Kitchen equipment: Large American  fridge-freezer, gas hob with 4 burners, electric oven,  microwave, dishwasher, kettle, coffee machine, toaster.

Upstairs

Bedroom 2: King-size bed, 2 bedside tables and lamps, wardrobe, air-con, en suite shower-room with shower, wash basin and WC.

Bedroom 3: King-size bed, 2 bedside tables and lamps, wardrobe, air-con, en suite shower-room with shower, wash basin and WC.

Bedrooms 2 and 3 open on to a balcony with great sea views and 2 wooden sun-loungers.

Bedroom 4: 2 single beds (1m90 x 90), wardrobe, air-con, en suite shower-room with shower, wash basin and WC. Garden view.

Garden & swimming pool: Concrete paving stones lead from the veranda to the swimming pool and its 6 wooden sun-loungers as well as a thatched-roof kiosk furnished with a dining table and 6 wooden chairs for alfresco meals and sundowners. Diving is not allowed in the pool. As it is not fenced, children should be supervised by an adult.
