Cap Malheureux
Cap Malheureux is a small fishing village located on the northernmost tip
of Mauritius, just north of Grand Bay and Pereybere (2 miles from Pereybere). Cap Malheureux offers magnificent views of some small islands off
the coast, such as Ile Plate, famous for its lighthouse, Ile Ronde, a wildlife
bird sanctuary, and Coin de Mire, an enormous rock of historical importance,
since it was from there that the English secretly embarked on September 2, 1810
to win over the island from the French. It is home to several nice beach villas,
some of which can now be rented. We have several in our portfolio and we invite
you to view them. Climate-wise, Cap Malheureux, dry with a light breeze is well served.
 
Villa Le Phare
Overview
Situated
on a beachside private estate at Cap Malheureux in lush tropical gardens
is this delightful private villa with pool that can accommodate up to 6 persons.
Le Phare is a beautiful villa with terracotta roof.
80 metres from the beach and in 3rd row from the sea
it has a direct access to the beach and sea via a private lane.
 
Accommodation
It has a large garden with swimming pool and a spacious covered
veranda
leading off the pool for outside living and dining.
The indoor lounge is spacious and bright with a sitting and dining area.
The villa is built on one floor and all three bedrooms (double beds) are
air-conditioned
and all have en-suite bathrooms with toilet.
In short, an ideal holiday home for a family holiday or with several friends.
The Beach
Water depth is relatively low on beach, progressively going deeper
further, which means that children can swim or paddle in all safety.
Kitchen
Well-equipped kitchen with microwave oven, washing machine and dishwasher.
The Surroundings
The
Cap Malheureux small shop is close and well within walking distance, but it
certainly is better to shop at Super U, a huge hyper-market which is 2 km away.
Staff
2 maids daily for 3 hours (except Sundays and public holidays).
All
services are included in the rate: 4 hours per day.
Josiane does the cooking, and the other maid does the cleaning, washing and
ironing.
