Pointe aux Canonniers - Stretching from the well-known Choisy beach to Grand Bay is Pointe aux Canonniers, well-known by regular visitors to Club Med. Mont Choisy and Grand Bay are only a few minutes away with their turquoise lagoons and gentle waves lapping the shore. At the Mont Choisy end (south) of that 2km stretch of perfect beach, the Club Med allows non-resident tourists to take advantage of its restaurants, bar and evening shows for a modest fee. However, at the other end you are practically in Grand Bay with its numerous restaurants, duty-free shops and its festive atmosphere (less than a km away). Villa Millesoli
Villa Millesoli is a high end self catering establishment, located in Pointe Aux Canonniers in one of the most sought after areas of Mauritius. It is less than a 10 minute walk to the superb Mont Choisy Beach and its turquoise sheltered bay which offers excellent swimming and water skiing throughout the year or to Club Med. The villa is also a 5 minute drive to Grand Baie, probably the most picturesque natural bay in the Indian Ocean. Grand Baie is also known for its buzz, boasting over one hundred bars and restaurants in addition to elegant shops and boutiques. It has however kept its charm as a traditional fishing village with the fishermen selling their catch every afternoon next to the beach. Villa Millesoli is an exclusive 3 bedroom villa with a large feature swimming pool centrally located between the living area and the bedrooms. The pool is the life and soul of the villa, capturing sunlight from dawn to dusk, and its roof terrace which overlooks Grand Bay and the ocean beyond provides the ideal setting for a sundowner, and also includes a covered area fitted with bamboo blinds for protection from the sun.
