3000 sqm and offers a unique spa concept, based on personalised treatments

The Seven Colours Spa (open everyday from 9am
to 8.30pm) offers the following facilities: 18 treatments rooms, including
7 indoor treatment rooms (4 doubles and 3 singles), 2 vichy showers, 2
steamed rooms, 5 garden spa kiosks (2 doubles and 3 singles), 2 beach
kiosks, 1 vitality pool, 1 chilled pool, 2 hammams, 1 sauna, 2 relaxation
areas, and 1 hair dresser with a beauty parlour
Golf
Designed by South African golf architect Peter
Matkovitch, the par 72, 205 acre course has wide, undulating fairways carved
through a sugar cane plantation and lies between the volcanic mountains and
the turquoise blue sea. Much of the landscaping and design, such as the use
of Vettiver and Mondo grass, simulate the dramatic contours of the Bel Ombre
estate plantations which still surround the course.
The course is technically challenging for
low-handicappers but also highly enjoyable for recreational golfers, with
five sets of tees and bunkers, water hazards and blind greens strategically
placed. Two rivers, the Citronniers and St Martin, cross the fairways at
unexpected points, and lush, exotic flowers scent the air.
Beginners, or those who want to practice their
short game, are catered for with Le Golf du Château's 9-hole par 3 course,
the only one of its kind on the island.
As with any first class golf resort, golfers
needing to fine-tune their game can visit the driving range or PGA-run golf
academy for top-class instruction. There is also a well-stocked pro shop.
Family
Kids
The Timomo & Friends Kids Club at Heritage Le
Telfair Golf & Spa Resort is open from 8.15am to 11.30pm daily and welcomes
children from the age of 2 to 11. The daily program of activities,
appropriate for each age, includes environmental excursions, computer
stations and the latest video games, kids’ pool, arts & crafts programs.
The Timomo & Friends Kids Club at Heritage
Awali Golf & Spa Resort is open from 8:30am to 11.00pm daily and welcomes
children from the age of 3 (if potty trained) to 11.
Activities include creative workshops (where
kids learn to create Mauritian musical instruments or sweets for example),
crab hunting at sunset, typical Mauritian games...
Babysitting is also available on request at
extra cost (in villa or at both resorts).
