Albion This west coast village hardly known outside Mauritius till now was chosen by Club Med to set up its second holiday village in Mauritius. We propose one of their most prestigious luxury private villas within Le Village d'Albion domain.
Villa Vendome
Villa of 4 bedrooms all en suite for up to 8 adults Description Villa Vendome is one of the most luxurious private villas of the 5 Tridents Club Med Resort in Albion Mauritius. Facing the ocean in a wonderful tropical landscaped estate of 8 hectares the villa enjoys a stunning view over the Indian Ocean and surrounding mountains. It has 24/7 security and the VIP services of the concierge for all your requests (taxis, restaurant reservations club, spa, golf, excursions …).
With a surface area of more
than 350 m2, in a private landscaped garden of 2,000 m2, Villa Vendome has a
beautiful swimming pool (with the possibility of children’s security fence
on request). Access to the beach can be made on foot or by calling for a
golf cart. Included in the rental is a house manager who speaks French, English, Italian and a maid who looks after the housekeeping and the cooking from 8h00 to 18h00. Extra hours can be done by arrangement (evening meal, baby-sitting). The villa was built in 2010 and designed by the Mauritian architect Jean-Michel d’Unienville and the interior designer was the famous Marc Hertrich. Bathed in light and colour with expanses of space and in the heart of a luxurious Mauritian garden you will be able to relax and appreciate memorable days enjoying sundowners on the outside terrace area facing the ocean 60 m2) 1) Interior - Bedrooms : 1 King Size bed (2 m x 2 m) in both Master bedrooms, 2 twin beds (1m x 2 m) as well as 1 truckle beds (pull out beds) in each of the two junior rooms. - Kitchen: dish washer, American fridge-freezer, induction hob, oven, microwave, coffee machine, toaster, blender, mixer. - Laundry: washing machine, tumble dryer, ironing board and iron. - Air-Conditioning: in all the rooms. - Lounge, inside dining room: spacious reception room of 90 m2 with 6 metre high ceiling - Veranda (facing the pool): outdoor lounge and dining covered areas of 60 m2. - Surround sound, HIFI: 5 televisions HD, 3 BLUERAY readers, 5 I-POD docking stations, 3 HIFI BOSE channels, surround sound on the terrace and complimentary WIFI from la Plantation d’Albion. - Bathrooms: 4 bathrooms with separate toilet and hair dryers. The en suite bathrooms of Master 1 and 2 bedrooms have an interior and exterior shower and a bath tub. - Dressing room and wardrobes: they are all equipped with a safe. - Linen: the bed sheets, towels (red), pools towels (turquoise stripe) and the beach towels (sand) are included.
The estate has 4 security
points (one just in front of the villa) and has 24/7 CCTV coverage. 3) MOBILITY The villa domain is 15 hectares in addition to the 24 hectares covered by Club Med. Golf buggies (free of charge) are the way to get around the estate, call 9; the buggy arrives and drives you to where you wish to be within the Club (beach, restaurants, spa, main gate, etc...)
There are 2 restaurants : « La Distillerie » (large buffet) or « Le
Phare » (waiter service) 4) MAINTENANCE
The villa has a permanent maintenance contract. 5) ACTIVITIES AVAILABLE AT CLUB MED The following a la carte activities are bookable at the villa reception with rates until 30 April 2011: Special day pass including late breakfast in Le Phare, lunch + access to all the activities (golf, tennis, sailing, sports hall…)
It
is also possible to have meals delivered to the villa from the restaurant Le
Phare, with a waiting time of 45 minutes. The menu is changed daily.
6) HIGHLIGHTS FOR YOUR ENJOYMENT a – The villa is air-conditioned throughout; the thermostats are set for 24° and can be changed room by room. It is also possible to change the flow of air as well as the temperature. The air-conditioning stops when the doors and windows are open. b – The bedrooms and lounge have BLUE-RAY readers, LCD television, HIFI channel, IPOD docking station. If you have a problem using the remotes, a technician will assist you in their use. c – The veranda has surround sound and can be controlled independently from the lounge; it is possible to listen to the television in the lounge and at the same time the IPOD on the veranda. d – The villa has complimentary WIFI (network of la Plantation d’Albion).
The house manager and her assistant are available from 8h00 à 18h00 throughout your stay. Natacha is an excellent cook and will enchant you with her Mauritian and Chinese cuisine. However let her know if you like more or less spicy! You will also need to let her know what you prefer for breakfast. The staff can also work supplementary hours after 18h00; additional hours are 200 rupees (approximately 5 €) plus the taxi fare of 600 rupees (approx 15 €). 8) SWIMMING POOL The pool is cleaned by salt electrolysis. The salt electrolysis treatment is a water purification technology that eliminates bacteria and viruses in pool water. As a result, the swimming pool water doesn't irritate either the eyes or the skin of the bather anymore.
The pool is cleaned every morning at 7h00; if the timing is not right for
you it can be changed with the maintenance team. 9) MAINTENANCE OF THE GARDEN It is possible that during your stay a maintenance operation of the garden is undertaken. The automatic watering system on all the lawns is set for 06h00, cycle of an hour. The timings can be changed if this is not convenient for you
