The Royal beach hotel is situated 15 minutes from the capital of the island, Hellville and 30 minutes from the Airport of Fascene, Nosy Be.
There are two possibilities to reach Nosy Be from the main island of Madagascar-

·         You can choose the sea route, from Mahajunga (a sea port on the west coast of Madagascar) orAnkify, a small port facing Nosy Be where you could take a small ferry boat.

·         You can also choose the air flight route. Nosy Be is situated 30 minutes away from Diego Suarez, or one hour from Antananarivo.

Whichever way you choose, you will be picked up form the ferry or the airport if the hotel is informed.

The hotel is situated in one of the most beautiful bays of Nosy Be, Madirokely, and near to the traditional village of Ambatoloaka, famous for its typical small restaurants and for the joyful character of its inhabitants, which make it one of the liveliest areas in Nosy Be.

The Royal Beach Hotel has a mixed architecture – Creole and Malgache, with its wooden tile roofs and decoration using the special woods of Madagascar.

ACCOMMODATION

Royal Beach Hotel consists of 42 standard rooms, 6 suites and 3 villas.

            The rooms and suites all have large bay windows with a balcony or terrace, opening up onto a splendid view of our tropical gardens, swimming pool and sea.

The furniture is made of the famous Malagasy wood, the “Palissandre”.

All the material used in the rooms, lamp shades, bed covers and cushions, in the relaxing colours of chocolate and sand are also made in Madagascar, and you will be able to appreciate the talents of local handicraft.

The very spacious suites include a bedroom, lounge, very large balcony which are all conducive to relaxing and getting away from it all. The suite bathrooms have a bath and a separate shower with a separate toilet too.

Our bar overlooks the swimming pool and allows you to relax facing the fabulous sunsets of Nosy Be.

At all moments of the day, come and relax at our “Pizzeria”, an informal snack restaurant next to the swimming pool to eat pizzas, salads and club sandwiches and light meals, under the brilliant sun of Nosy Be.

ACTIVITIES AND EXCURSIONS

Nosy Be is an exceptional island, famous for its countryside and traditions.

Our leisure staff can advise you on all the land excursions, discovering the amazing flora and fauna of the island as well as the discovery of the beauty of the Malagasy culture and the mysteries of its legends.

Sea excursions are simply heaven, turquoise lagoons where you can swim or dive with tropical fish and also, at certain times of the year, you may be lucky enough to witness the whale migration, which passes close by our island.

Lastly but not least, you can also find exceptional deep water fishing, diving, water skiing etc..
