Amarina Hotel is situated on the North West coast of Nosy Be, approximately an hour from the airport, along the beautiful beach of Anporaha, next to the local fisherman’s village.   The hotel is built in the heart of a six hectare tropical garden facing the wonderful Ambohiday lagoon.

ACCOMMODATION

The 58 rooms are separated into the following:

• 2 suites ‘Ampanjaka’ be: Senior suite (129m²), with living room, toilet, kitchen on ground floor, bed room upstairs with dressing, Bathroom and Toilet.
• 13 suites ‘Manantany’: Junior suite (82m²) on the first floor.
• 41 rooms ‘Fahatelo’: Superior room(47m²) on the ground floor
• 1 room ‘Fianakaviana’: family, with 2 bedrooms (98m²).
• 1 room ‘Zanakiana’: for disabled persons (47m²).
   

All rooms boast an elegant design and feature air conditioning; Mini-bar; Safe; Television and DVD; Internal telephone; Wifi connection; Hair dryer; Coffee and Tea service. They all face west thus allowing the guests to admire the magnificent sunset from their private terraces.

Bathrooms are spacious and designed in marble with double basin, bath and shower. The toilets are separated.
Each room has a range of organic natural care products. The fragrances have been specially designed in partnership with ‘Bio Aroma’: moisturizing cream, milk, scented soaps, scented bath oils.

WINING & DINING

The ‘Cannelle & Paprika’ restaurant is a large open restaurant with makuti roof, which faces the sea and opens on the swimming pool.

You can enjoy a rich and varied buffet for breakfast.  For lunch and dinner are served either a la carte or buffet depending on the number of guests.  The chef prepares both local and international dishes using local and fresh produce as well as the catch of the day for seafood dishes.

Private honeymoon and anniversary dinners can be organised on the beach or on the mezzanine facing the pool and beachfront.  Group dinners can also be arranged in the garden or beach setting. Special seafood and lobster menus can be prepared.

The Toaka  Mamy Bar which is next to the pool and overlooks the beach, serves snacks and light lunches and unique Nosy Be cocktails.
 

ACTIVITIES AND EXCURSIONS

Amarina Hotel offers a wide variety of sports and leisure activities. You can choose from the well equipped gym to keep fit or enjoy a numerous of outdoor activities ranging from mountain biking to guided tours in the villages, snorkelling in the beautiful lagoon, and beach sports like football, volleyball, beach tennis, wii video games.

Or for those who like to discover new things, there are guided tours to surrounding islands. Discover the sacred island of Nosy Fahiny, directly opposite the hotel, to enjoy beautiful snorkelling spots and a seabed teeming with marine life.  Guided tour of Lokobe, Nosy Be's protected nature reserve. Discover the local and unique flora and fauna crossing the lagoon in traditional dugout pirogues.

Amarina can also help organize nearby diving, fishing and quad-bike outings, and is always ready to organize tailor-made sea excursions.
